The Eagles have reportedly called the Bills about bringing LeSean McCoy back to Philadelphia

McCoy, now 30, is a polarizing player with multiple off-the-field incidents under his belt.

Angelo Cataldi campaigned against McCoy on Wednesday.

"You are not listening to a radio show this morning, you are listening to a campaign," Cataldi said at the top of Wednesday's 94WIP Morning Show. "Every once in awhile I feel obligated to try to prevent one of our teams from doing something stupid, insulting, frustrating to the fans, and maybe injurious to our health."

"My views on Shady McCoy are a matter of public record," Cataldi continued. "They go back to when he was here and I couldn't stand him. And although it did become a stupid trade by Chip Kelly, I applauded it."

According to a poll, about 70% of fans agree with Cataldi.

Cataldi then played a montage of audio clips from all of the alleged incidents McCoy has gotten himself into.

"He's been brutal to people in Buffalo, he's a horrible person," Cataldi said. "If the Eagles bring him back to this city, I for one—I'll speak for myself—I will never root for this football team again."

McCoy spent his first six seasons in Philadelphia rushing for at least 1,000 in four of those. This year he's been banged up on a bad Bills team, rushing for just 170 yards in four games.

The Eagles could use help at the running back position with Jay Ajayi out for the season (ACL). Furthermore, Darren Sproles has missed the last four games with a hamstring injury and Corey Clement, who is expected to play this week, missed the last two games with a quad injury.

As for the 2-3 Bills, you'd think they would be eager to trade the 30-year-old running back. McCoy has a cap hit of $8.95 million this season and $9.05 next season.
