Where does Carson Wentz ranks among the league's best? According to Pete Prisco of CBS Sports, he isn't even in the Top 100 NFL Players of 2020.

Prisco, who released his annual Top 100 ranking, included ten quarterbacks on his list ahead of Wentz, including Dak Prescott (#46) and Kirk Cousins (#86). The Eagles have six members in the top 100: Lane Johnson (#30), Fletcher Cox (#54), Brandon Brooks (#55), Zach Ertz (#68), Jason Kelce (#76) and new-comer Darius Slay (#96).

The full quarterback list is as follows:

Patrick Mahomes (#1)

Russell Wilson (#3)

Lamar Jackson (#7)

Aaron Rodgers (#10)

Drew Brees (#11)

Tom Brady (#19)

Dak Prescott

Deshaun Watson (#62)

Matt Ryan (#70)

Kirk Cousins (#86)

Prisco concedes he had a "tough time" leaving Wentz outside of this list, but it showcases the variation in opinion on Wentz's abilities across the league. Dan Orlovsky of ESPN recently ranked Carson Wentz as a top 5 quarterback entering the 2020 season, and his colleague Kyle Brandt agreed.

The speculation around Wentz has continued after the Eagles selected Jalen Hurts with a second round pick in this years draft. Doug Pederson joined Angelo Cataladi & The Morning Show this morning and said that Wentz's injury history was not a factor in drafting Hurts. WIP's Joe Giglio offered one insight into what that might mean:

In regards to the Eagles players ranked among their respective positions, Kelce ranked as the best center in the league; Cox ranked second behind Geno Atkins at defensive tackle; Johnson (T), Brooks (G) and Ertz (TE) were third at their spots; Slay was the 9th best corner back.
