The Eagles have signed right tackle Lane Johnson to a four-year extension, a deal that will keep him under contract through the 2025 season.

The deal likely means, barring his release, Johnson will only ever play for the Eagles. The team announced the team on Friday.

According to an NFL Network report, the deal contains the most money in the league for an offensive linemen.

Johnson, 29-years old, has been one of the best right tackles in the NFL since joining the team in 2013. Now that both Johnson and Brandon Brooks are under contract for the foreseeable future, the Eagles have locked down one of the best right-sides of the offensive lines in the NFL.

The Eagles have now signed Johnson, Brooks, Jake Elliott and Rick Lovato to contract extensions during the season, and there is little doubt more will be announced soon.
