Heading into Sunday's game against the Jets, lifelong Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham wasn't thinking about football. His wife, Carlyne, was in the hospital after she begun feeling sick over the weekend. She is scheduled to have gallbladder surgery on Monday, Graham told reporters after the game

Of course, with his wife on his mind, BG had one of the best games of his career, racking up a career-high 3.0 sacks in a 31-6 dominant Eagles' win over the Jets. He became the first Eagle to record 3.0 sacks in a game since Fletcher Cox did it last December.

"He and I had a chance to talk when we both arrived at the stadium yesterday morning and I just wanted to make sure his wife was good, and she was," Pederson told the 94WIP Morning Show on Monday. "She was in great hands and he was in great spirits. His wife was like, 'You better have a good game today.'"

Graham and the defense completely dominated the game.

“Quite frankly, the defense won the football game for us," Pederson admitted.

Graham, 31, moved into moving into sixth place on the Eagles' all-time sack list with 45.5 behind only Reggie White (124.0), Trent Cole (85.5), Clyde Simmons (76.0), Hugh Douglas (54.5), and Greg Brown (50.5).
