The Phillies have won four of their last five games and are now 5-5 on the season. Suddenly, the Gabe Kapler criticism has slowed down, a bit.

Kapler, who joins Angelo Cataldi and the 94WIP Morning Show every Wednesday at 9am, was asked about getting booed at home.

"If this all boils down to me getting booed and them (the players) getting cheered, I think that's a good thing," he said. "Obviously, I have a job to do. I have a lot to prepare for."

Kapler talked about analytics and the way fans have reacted to the Phillies' use of them.

"It may be the word analytics itself that really bothers fans," Kapler said. "And actually bothers a lot of people around baseball. Analytics is kind of just a foreign or fancy word for information, in my opinion. If you replace the word analytics with information, I think people would have a much more positive response to it. But at the end of the day, anything that feels a little bit knew and a little bit different -- and I understand that we've made some moves that feel a little bit different. It can be uncomfortable until you see some of those things pay dividends.

"Everything at the end of the day is designed to help us win baseball games."
