Eight catches on 10 targets for 154 yards and two scores.  Not bad for the season opener and DeSean Jackson's first game back in midnight green since being cut in March of 2014.

Jackson was clearly the most impactful player on the field for either team and Eagles center Jason Kelce talked about the importance of having No. 10 back.

"We don't win that game without DeSean," Kelce said on Wednesday's 94WIP Morning Show of the Eagles' 32-27 win over the Redskins on Sunday.

"Both of those huge (touchdown) plays to him, it shows you how much we missed him when he was gone. We kind of all knew that. The ability to score at such a distance is such a huge momentum swing."

After an ugly first half from the Eagles, Jackson was the one to break the halftime huddle and give the team a little pep talk

"Obviously he was emotional about the game," Kelce said. "We saw him getting into with Josh Norman early on. He has history with both of these teams and he was excited wanting to be back in Philadelphia playing for the Eagles. He's talked numerously about how much he's looking forward to get back out here. The emotions were really high for him. At the end of the half, coming back out on the field, yeah he was pretty revved up."
