Kyle Brandt is back with another amazing pro-Eagles rant.

This time, Brandt is calling Carson Wentz a top-five QB he'd want to have for the 2020 season.

"All this other noise, Carson Wentz is a made guy. He's got the contract. I don't think the Jalen Hurts thing is a threat," Brandt said.

"Let's not forget how good he is, how good he was and what he accomplished last year with spare parts and vegrance they picked up on the highway. Going into this season, he is in the top five guys I would ever want leading my team. I got (Patrick) Mahomes, Russ (Russell Wilson), Lamar (Jackson), (Aaron) Rodgers, and Carson Wentz.

"Just be you, try to stay healthy and you'll kill it."

Wentz, 27, is heading into his 5th NFL season. Wentz's issue has been injuries, as he has missed the Eagles' postseason runs in 2017 and 2018, and was knocked out of the team's 2019 playoff loss to the Seahawks by Jadeveon Clowney.

Last season, Wentz threw for a career high 4,039 yards to go along with 27 touchdowns and just seven interceptions. In four seasons, Wentz has an impressive TD-INT ratio of 97-35 in 56 games. However, his career completion percentage of 63.8% isn't all that special.

Hopefully with the addition of some new offensive weapons like rookie Jalen Regaor, speedster WR Marquise Goodwin, the return of DeSean Jackson, and the continued emergence of second-year RB Miles Sanders, Wentz and the Eagles' offense can take another step towards elite.
