Mike Trout comments on joining the Phillies in future

Trout wants to play for the Phillies. 

The MLB star is from Millville, NJ, he's at every Eagles games and now every big Sixers game. He's a big family and friends guy and wants to play close to home on a winning franchise. It's a no-brainer! 

Trout addressed the media this weekend amid the longest MLB free-agency offseason ever, and was asked about potentially joining the Phillies one day. 

This Freudian slip was especially awesome. 

Trout, 27, has spent his entire career with the Los Angeles Angels, reaching the postseason just once in 2014. Trout is under contract for $33,250,000 in 2019 and 2020, before he becomes an unrestricted free-agent in
