While the NFL is certainly the most popular American professional sports league, the NBA is quickly becoming the most entertaining and best.

Thursday, February 7th, 2019 was a huge win for the National Basketball Association.

Following another exhilarating and chaotic trade deadline, which ended at 3pm, TNT televised the new NBA All-Star draft with captains LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo. Of course, the NBA on TNT crew—Charles Barkley, Shaq, Kenny Smith, and Ernie Johnson—did an amazing job, as did LeBron and Giannis.

Giannis joked about "tampering" when LeBron selected Anthony Davis.

Later, Giannis selected Ben Simmons, James' fellow Klutch Sports member.

But...LeBron actually traded Russell Westbrook for Simmons, splitting up Simmons and Embiid and pairing Westbrook with Embiid.

LeBron clearly dominated Giannis in the draft.

After the draft, LeBron recorded a triple-double in Boston and the "broken" Lakers beat the Celtics on a Rajon Rondo buzzer beater, of all people.

All in all, Thursday was a big win for the NBA.
