Odubel Herrera is on fire.

The 26-year-old Phillies outfielder extended his on-base stream to 41 games in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Mets. The on-base streak is the fifth longest in Phillies' history. Mike Schmidt holds the record, reaching base in 56 straight games in 1981-82.

Herrera is hitting .360/.430/.561. His .360 batting averaging leads Major League Baseball.

The Phils are 7-3 in their last 10 games and are now 23-16 on the season, just 1.0 game back in the NL East of the Atlanta Braves.

Up next: The Phillies are off on Monday before six straight road games--two at the Orioles (13-28) and four at the Cardinals (22-16).
