The Phillies are "likely" to resume Spring Training, or begin Spring Training part II if you prefer, in Philadelphia, according to NBCSportsPhiladelphia's Jim Salisbury

Salisbury notes details are still being worked out and nothing is official amid the COVID-19 pandemic, but Citizens Bank Park is a realistic option for the Phillies to hold Spring Training.

"The Phillies also have ownership stakes in their Triple A club in Allentown and their Double A club in Reading so those ballparks could also be utilized, if necessary," Salisbury writes.

Spring Training was halted on March 12th due to the coronavirus pandemic. Major League Baseball would like to begin the 2020 season in July, according to multiple reports, assuming they can resolve their negotiations with the Players Association and they get proper legal approval to begin playing.

MLB, which is losing roughly $75 million a day, according to estimates by Patrick Rishe per ESPN.com, hopes to have a shortened 2020 season.
