Joel Embiid has been suspended two games for his fight with Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns in Wednesday's game, according to a report from The Athletic.

Anthony-Towns was also suspended two games, while Sixers point guard Ben Simmons was not suspended or fined for his role in the fight.

After the game, Embiid didn't help his case by going on social media and going back and forth with Towns, using some inappropriate language.

Sixers' GM Elton Brand offered support for Embiid via Woj on Thursday afternoon.

The 4-0 Sixers begin a four-game west coast trip on Saturday in Portland against the Trail Blazers.
