With the NBA season set to return on July 31, several games will be played as regular season games before the playoffs begin. 22-teams will return to action and the NBA has planned for how teams will play out their remaining schedule.

The plan is for all teams to play eight regular season games before beginning the playoffs.

Let's look at the Sixers schedule after the season was suspended. The scheduled Hawks, Bulls, Hornets and Timberwolves games will be cancelled.

So, the Sixers is expected to look like:

All things considered, that schedule draws easier than most. While no home-court advantage will certainly be a disadvantage for the Sixers, they'll get the Wizards twice which is nice. However, the Magic and Blazers will seemingly be much tougher than expected, on a neutral floor.

The big question for the Sixers will be the health and conditioning of their all-stars Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons. Both players were injured when the season was paused, but both are expected to be able to play when the season resumes.
