Jamal Crawford is 38 years old. For 16 straight seasons, he's averaged at least 10 points per game. He's one of the game's most consistent scorers.

The 6'5" guard, capable of scoring at all levels, is also one of the most respected leaders left in the NBA and knows he'll be coming off of the bench at this point in his career. And he's a free-agent.

The Sixers are a perfect fit and they're reportedly interested in him

Even with a healthy Zhaire Smith, Philadelphia lacks perimeter play makers. Now, with Smith out for a significant amount of time with a Jones fracture, the Sixers need to add the offensively crafty Crawford.

Last year, Crawford signed with Minnesota over Cleveland and Golden State saying, "If I went there and let’s say we happen to win, what’s next? Sometimes it’s more gratifying to help teams go from one point to another point."

So to recap:

The Sixers need cheap perimeter scoring and Crawford wants to help a young team take the next step.

What is everyone waiting for?
