It certainly seems like the Brooklyn Nets are starting to become a real possibility, if not the frontrunners, to land 76ers free-agent foward Tobias Harris.

Listen to your team news NOW.

According to Michael Scotto of The AthleticHarris and the Nets have "mutual interest."

Harris, 26, in Islip, New York—about 50 miles from Brooklyn—and played for the brother of Nets head coach Kenny Atkinson, Steve, in high school.

On May 28th, BetOnline.ag listed the Sixers as the favorites to retain Harris when free-agency begins on June 30th, but the Nets had the second shortest odds. Five days prior, Philly.com's Keith Pompey reported the Utah Jazz, Indiana Pacers, Sacramento Kings, Dallas Mavericks, and Brooklyn Nets are interested in Harris.

Harris was acquired by the Sixers in a February trade, along with Boban Marjanović and Mike Scott, in exchange for Wilson Chandler, Mike Muscala, Landry Shamet and future draft picks. Harris has already played for five different NBA teams in eight seasons.

The 6'9" forward has become one of the NBA's elite shooters, shooting over 39-percent from three-point range in each of the last two seasons.

While blog boys like myself are writing about Harris rumors, he's living his best life in Bali.

No such thing as a life that's better than yours...
