Kansas City Chiefs three-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Tyreek Hill will not be suspended following an investigation into allegations that he abused his son, the NFL announced Friday.

"Our understanding is that the child is safe," the NFL said in the statement.

Hill, 25, is one of the NFL's most explosive and dynamic players. Last season, Hill caught 87 balls for 1,479 yards and 12 touchdowns. He rushed for another 151 yards and a score and returned a punt for a touchdown.

On April 26th, Chiefs GM Brett Veach announced that Hill was suspended from team activities as a result of the ongoing child abuse investigation.

The league will leave the case open incase further evidence emerges, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter, but Hill is now free to report to camp and play this season.

Hill is entering the final year of his contract and, naturally, contract negotiations are going to be tricky.
